Thank you so much to the generous parents who donated the playground balls and bag! Remember to check out our wish list (at the end of this post) if you would like to make a classroom contribution. This week we ended our 3 digit place value unit with a fun STEM challenge! Students were asked to create free standing structures with 100’s (graham crackers), tens (pretzel rods), and ones (marshmallows) with the greatest possible value. We worked together in groups using the 4 C’s and the STEM Engineering Design Process. I’m hoping to upload some pictures to the blog next week! Next Wednesday, August 30th is early release (12:30).
