This week we had ILC with Mrs. Bates where we researched James Oglethorpe. In addition, we had Guidance with Mrs. Grindstaff where we learned some new Growth Mindset strategies. We will have no homework for the month of December however, students should still continue reading each night! Don’t forget to have your child fill out their 200 Book Club reading logs! We’ve had another great week in second grade! On Monday our fabulous room parents coordinated our Bat Day Centers, Tuesday was Halloween/Hat Day, Thursday we enjoyed our science lesson on the nature trail, and Friday we collaborated with our 5th grade technology buddies!
