I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am so very thankful for my students and parents this year and appreciate your kindness. A friendly reminder that next Monday, December 3rd is our Nutcracker Ballet field trip. Students are asked to dress as if they were attending a theater performance (Holiday attire is great however, no costumes please)! Our class created tools the Creek/Cherokee Indians would have used long ago using recyclable materials and then wrote and produced a commercial/song promoting their tools. If you have not yet completed the field trip permission slips for our X-drenaline field trip or the Cobb Performing Arts field trip (ballet) please check your child’s folder. The Performing Arts permission slip was sent home at the very beginning of the year (for our trip on December 3rd) and the X-drenaline permission slips were sent home during parent-teacher conferences. For those who have not turned them in I am sending home additional forms today. Please sign and return these asap.
