Upload your iMovie to Seesaw. Hello families, As you know by now, school is going to look very different for the upcoming days. This situation is not one I ever expected to deal with in my teaching career but, it is our current reality. The third-grade team has been working together to come up with an instructional plan to benefit our students. I will primarily use my blog and Seesaw for updates. I know most of you already check my blog weekly but moving forward, you will need to check it daily for your child’s assignments. My virtual office hours will be from 9:30-11:00 am each week-day. During this time, I will be available to answer any questions you might have regarding online assignments. Daily assignments will be posted on my blog prior to my virtual hours and should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to complete each day. (If you should have a question later in the day please feel free to email me)! Please respond to this message and tell me the following: - Verify that you received this message from me. - Does your child have access to a computer or tablet at home? - Does your child know how to log in to Office 365? Today I sent home a handout with a QR code and information on how to log in to Seesaw from home (Each student has their own unique login). Also, here is the direct link to the Digital Textbook page. It has login information on it: http://www.cobbk12.org/centraloffice/learningresources/digitaltextbooks.aspx and the Link to our Digital Resource Guide: The Invention Convention is still on! Please continue to have your child work on their project as needed and let Mrs. Bates or Mrs. Pascual know if you have questions. [email protected] [email protected]
Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! We will get through this challenge together. Know that this will be a learning curve for everyone and flexibility will be the name of the game. Give your children a hug from me and please email me pictures of them working from home! Warmly, Mrs. Baer Today was STEAM-tastic! Please check our twitter account (@MollyBaer1) for some pictures of your children collaborating today! An email from Mrs. Carstens will be coming soon regarding our STEAM Certification. 😊 On another note I have had some questions regarding prep for Milestones testing. First, please do not stress about this!! Our class will be participating in a typing “bootcamp” with Mrs. Pascual to help better our typing skills (the test will be online and does require students to type some of their written responses). If you would like to work on typing skills at home please feel free to use the Type to Learn program. This program can be accessed via Mrs. Pascual’s blog https://trttechnologylab.weebly.com/. In addition to typing we will be doing a lot of review in class!
