It’s hard to believe but Quarter 3 report cards were sent home this week! Please sign and return the envelope and keep your child’s report card for your records. Also, a reminder if you have not already, please sign and return the field trip permission slips for the Chattahoochee Nature Center by the end of next week. This is a wonderful field trip that goes along with our 4th quarter unit on plant and animal life cycles! We are covered for a chaperone…thanks so much to everyone who volunteered! Next week is Exceptional Children’s Week. We will be visited by guest speaker Andy Lipman who will teach us about Cystic Fibrosis and accepting other’s differences. If you have not already please turn in your child’s enrollment information for next year along with the large envelope and 4 stamps. The envelopes will be used to mail your child’s end of the year report card and as well as other important information regarding the 2018-2019 school year. It's hard to believe but next Wednesday our 3rd quarter report cards will be sent home. Please keep the report card for your records and return the signature card. This week was a fun one! We met with our 5th grade technology buddies and continued our Fairy Tale STEM Challenge. Also, Mrs. Porter, who was previously a dental hygienist came to visit and do some dental health experiments with us. Next week in math we will continue to work with money and counting collections of bills and coins. If you have loose change at home have your child practice counting this weekend!
