We have really gotten back into our routine this week!
Please check your child’s folder this afternoon for a letter regarding grading for the remainder of the year. One important task third grade teachers have is to help students make the shift from lower elementary to upper elementary school. With this in mind, we will begin adding a percentage to all graded papers going home. This will give you an idea of how your child will be graded in 4th grade when students move towards a traditional report card. Our penguin projects will be due in two short weeks. I hope your child has had the chance to get started on this. January 31st will be here before we know it! Also, we are running low on disinfecting wipes, so we would appreciate any donations!
